The Saveetha University Auditorium is one of the most ambitious projects in V3 Design’s portfolio — a multi-purpose performance and convention facility containing halls scaled from intimate 50-seat seminar rooms to a grand 5000-seat opera-style auditorium. This hierarchy of spaces allows the university to host everything from departmental meetings to international conferences and major cultural events.
The crown jewel is the 5000-seat grand auditorium designed in a classic opera-house configuration with multiple balcony levels. The tiered seating ensures excellent sightlines from every seat while creating intimacy despite the massive capacity. Each hall features specialized acoustic treatments — absorptive panels for speech clarity in smaller rooms, and reflective/diffusive surfaces for rich sound in performance spaces. Structural isolation between halls allows simultaneous events without acoustic interference.
