Vaigai Hostel – G+14 Twin Tower Residence
The Vaigai Hostel is the twin tower companion to the Krishna Hostel, together forming a major part of Saveetha University’s student housing infrastructure. This G+14 high-rise provides modern accommodation with the same thoughtful mix of shared and individual rooms, ensuring every student can find their preferred living arrangement.
Like its counterpart, the Vaigai Hostel integrates open-to-sky architectural voids that introduce daylight and natural ventilation deep into the building. Comprehensive recreational facilities including a swimming pool, play areas, and basketball court are shared between the twin towers. The building’s climate-responsive design — careful orientation, solar shading, and cross-ventilation strategies — ensures comfortable living in Chennai’s tropical conditions with reduced energy consumption.
