Research Building – G+10 Advanced Facility

The Research Building is a G+10 landmark on the Saveetha campus, featuring column-free spans of 13 to 14 meters that provide large, unobstructed laboratory and research spaces. These wide spans allow complete flexibility in configuring workstations, equipment layouts, and partition systems — essential for research environments where needs change frequently as projects evolve.

The innovative slit floor design is a defining architectural feature — strategically placed openings in floor slabs allow natural light to penetrate multiple levels deep into the building. The lower levels incorporate mechanical car parking systems, maximizing land use on campus. The top floor features a distinctive slope roof that creates a unique skyline presence while managing rainwater and providing extra ceiling height for specialized research equipment.
